Does anyone recall this early 1980's sitcom?
It was made by TVNZ I think, and set in a country pub called The Rabbiter's Rest. The publican was played by David Telford (who also made appearances at the time in things like McPhail and Gadsby, and the Maori Language portions of Sesame Street from memory).
Also in this comedy were Ross Jolly (from Gliding On/Market Forces fame) as the game warden, and I think Bruce Allpress too as a poacher. And I'm certain Billy T. James also appeared in the show.
I was a kid but I rememebr it fondly and thought it was pretty good. Does anyone recall more?

I don't remember the program but I was cleaning out some boxes the other day and found an old T-Shirt of mine which has "Rabbiters Rest" on the front and Springston Hotel on the back. From what I have read, the show may have been filmed there. Attachments:
