Hello everyone,
My name's Dave, and I've set this forum up so Kiwis and others can discuss our country's television and film heritage, memories and culture. And also talk about the future of the industries in this country.
I was born in 1970and grew up during the golden era of TV. We had it all, but I especially loved the British shows. It wasn't till recently while I have been studying filmmaking at the University of Waikato that I've come to really appreciate our own country's contribution to the filmatic arts. I
I hope you'll all join me in sharing memories of shows and films you remember with nostalgia (or disdain), and discussing the people who made them. Also feel free to discuss TV and Film stuff from other countries too, but on the appropriate board.
I am also creating a board to discuss NZ radio as well, as I'm an avid listener to the wonderful National Radio (I despise commercial radio!).
My only request is that when you post stuff here that you please keep your messages free from volgarity, aggression and any slanderous comments. Anything of that nature that's deemed inappropriate will be moderated or removed. Otherwise, all opinions are welcome.
