Whilst searching the 1975 Listener pages I found a programme that I certainly do not recall at all, but I wonder if this is of interest to others.
The programme was called Wooly Hills. I suspect it was a kid's show, though the listing never made it clear. I also suspect it may possibly have been a forerunner to the 1980's series Wooly Valley. Can anyone confirm this please?
Wooly Hills was billed as: "Life on a hill-country sheep station, featuring antics of colourful characters who work there, along with 'Screech' the Kea and 'Mouldy' the Ram."
The characters/actors were Cornstarch... Kevin Wilson Robin........... Annie Holden Charlie ........ Olly Ohlson Blue ............. Endel Lust
I noted some of the episodes too in case anyone is interested for future research. They went out on Thursdays at 4.10pm, on TV2 (then independent)
06 Nov 75 - "Sheep - And a Wedding" 13 Nov 75 - "A Day At The Show" 20 Nov 75 - "Dogs" 27 Nov 75 - "Machinary" 04 Dec 75 - "Growing Things" 11 Dec 75 - "Wool" 18 Dec 75 - "Conservation - And Preparing For Christmas" 25 Dec 75 - "Christmas Day" (seemed to be the final)
