Do you remember, before the days of After School with Olly Ohlson, the children's TV presenter was Michael Wilson (then billed as Mike Wilson) in the show The Fun Factory?
He played a geeky professory type character, with frizzy black hair and huge glasses.
The billing in the Listener used to read: 2.25 Fun Factory It's time for the doors of the Fun Factory to open in an afternoon of stories, games, new experiences and adventures in the company of Mike Wilson. First up it's...
And then it listed the shows, (the day I'm quoting from, April 16th, 1980, has Sesame Street, Take Hart, Bagpuss, Atom Ant, Tracy *80, Good Times and Dick Turpin taking kids through till 6pm when Happy Days came on! Ah... the memories...
